To blog, or not to blog...

"Hey! Will you do a blog so we can follow along with you?!"

I was in the line at the post office at the time, my mind focused on a million other things that needed to be accomplished before my departure. It caught me completely off guard and I am sure my friend could tell that I was initially horrified at the thought of it. Visions began to flash through my mind of myself running frantically through the Spanish countryside desperately trying to find wifi or an open electrical outlet to recharge the very devices that I was longing to leave behind. However, the seed was planted and almost as if there was a need for constant confirmation, each and every person from that point forward said the same thing.

So, here's my disclaimer! ;)
There has never been a person to meet or even correspond with me who has accused me of being short on words. I've tried, with great effort and much frustration, to be less colorful and more concise in my communication to no avail. After 42 years, I've just accepted it, I am who I am and that's a rather chatty person!
I also possess no knowledge of blogging or the rules that apply. If there are any, I'm sure I will break them...please accept my deepest apologies now!
I am going to do my best to share my experiences and progress as I walk along the Camino Frances, although I have no idea how often I will get to post or if I will have enough energy to move my fingers at the end of each day. I will also be posting from my phone so please be forgiving if it looks like I may have been attacked by wild monkeys while typing!
